From Act I of the pop opera 'Candyce', sung by the character Lila (vocals: Charissa Whillock).

Scene: Lila is looking out the window of the highrise penthouse she shares with her wealthy and well-connected husband Cliff, reflecting on her descent from promising financial professional to the unwanted role of trophy wife. With a glass of vodka in her hand and a line of ketamine at the ready, she looks down at the waterfront and sees her life reflected in the drift of the polluted river that flows along the borders of the city.
