Night People: Five Nocturnes for Octet & Solo Instruments

The pieces in this album are inspired by and dedicated to five iconic musicians from Los Angeles. Each piece is performed on the dedicatee's signature instrument, rendered in their unique style, and accompanied by arrangement for 8-piece chamber ensemble.

Devin Sarno (Bass)
Gere Fennelly (Piano)
Marnie Weber (Synthesizer)
Michael Whitmore (Nylon String Guitar)
G. E. Stinson (Electric Guitar)

The octet orchestration is violin, viola, cello, contrabass, flute, clarinet, oboe and bassoon. In Nocturne #4, a percussion kit replaces the oboe.
